The Redline Games welcomes cyclists to it's inaugural event!

Promising a big day of racing between a 100km Kermesse Handicap and 20km Time Trial around the Regatta Centre's iconic lake loop, this is a great opportunity to have a hit out on a closed road circuit.

 

Plus - there's $5000 in cash prizes up for grabs! Allez allez allez!

Criterium

Criterium

  • Entries: Open to AusCycling members only. Entries close 28th March 2023 for grading. 

  • Start/Finish: The start and finish line for the Criterium will be located on the southern straight of the criterium circuit. Refer to course maps for start/finish location. 

  • Registration and Marshalling: Registration and marshalling will be located on the grassed area between P6 and Old Castlereagh Rd, enter via Gate C.

  • Sign On: Sign on opens 1 hour before, and closes 20 minutes before criterium start. Refer to criterium schedule. 

  • Grades: A, B, C and D. 

  • Course Information: The course is an 800m circuit around the Regatta Centre P6 parking area, on the south side of the competition lake. 

  • Parking: Parking is available on the southern side of the competition lake, entrance from Old Castlereagh Rd. Please note the Regatta Centre event site on the north side of the competition lake is closed to vehicles except for emergency services. 

  • Amenities: Ample food, refreshments and toilets are available on site at the Regatta Centre. 

  • Prizes: 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for each grade

TIME TRIAL

  • Entries: Open to AusCycling and non-AusCycling members, please see separate registration links. Entries close 28th March 2023. Entries will be capped at 100 riders. 

  • Registration and marshalling: The registration and marshalling area for the time trial will be on the southern edge of P1 car park, before the start line. 

  • Sign On: Sign on closes 15 minutes before allocated start time. Start times will be released following close of entries. 

  • Grades: Riders will be allocated a start time by Mens/Womens age divisions. Start times will be released following close of entries. All riders will be released in 2 minute intervals, with the first and last 10 riders in 1 minute intervals.

  • Course Information: The course will be ridden in a clockwise direction on a 5km lake circuit or out-and-back course on the Northern side of the competition lake (subject to road conditions).  Please obey all directional signage and Officials directions. Riders are to stay left of the centre line at all times. Where the out-and-back circuit is utilised, there will be no overtaking on the Eastern Bridge or in the start and lap merge area at the Village Green. 

  • Parking: Parking is available on the southern side of the competition lake, entrance from Old Castlereagh Rd. Please note the Regatta Centre event site is closed to vehicles except for emergency services. 

  • Warm Up Area: Riders will need to utilise the southern parking area of the competition lake and Old Castlereagh Rd to warm up. There will be no road closures or traffic control on Old Castlereagh Road. 

  • Amenities: Ample food, refreshments and toilets are available on site at the Regatta Centre. 

  • Prizes: 1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall male and female
